Plug usb desktop reader into usb port on the computer.
Browse to the following website: https://cloudpass.com/downloads
Scroll down to “Card Enrolment Tool”.
Click on above icon and download “setup.exe” file.
Install “setup.exe” on computer.
Once installed run the “CloudPass Card Enrolment Tool” and you will see the below.
Enter subdomain (usually "companyname.cloudpass.co.uk", email support@cloudpass.com if you don’t know this for confirmation).
Enter email address (the email address you use for the CloudPass website).
Enter password (the password you use for the CloudPass website).
Log into CloudPass website (you’ll again need your email address and password for this).
Click on “Users” on the left hand side tabs.
Search for and click onto the user you want to assign the card/fob to.
Click “tokens”
Click “+ Add Token”
Click “Access Card/Fob”
Present Card/Fob onto desk top reader.
If the “Card Serial Number” field is populated, then the card/fob has been successfully read.
Click Save and then that card/fob has successfully assigned to the chosen user and will see it against the nominated user within the tokens tab like below.
Note: Enrolment tool needs to be running on computer your using when adding cards/fobs to users via the CloudPass website.
FAQ
Which user do I need to login to the card reader software with ?
You need to be logged in with the same user that you are logged into the CloudPass platform with
The program / website says failed to connect
Make sure you are on the same tenant and logged in with the same user on both software and platform
The card says its already associated with another user
The platform will show which user this is currently associated with - you can then go to that user and delete the card from them
How long does it take for the card to be activated and work on the door / turnstile ?
This is usually within a few seconds however, it can take up to a few minutes if this is still not working please check the connectivity of site.
It wont let me add a token to users - the option is not there or is greyed out
Please make sure the permission is enabled for your user role this can be found in settings > website user roles
You may not have permission to edit these if so please contact your admin
